Wisp is Maryland's only downhill ski resort, perched above Deep Creek Lake in the Appalachians and operating as a genuine four-season mountain with a mountain coaster, canopy tours, and golf alongside its winter terrain. Its numbered chairlifts (Chair 1 through Chair 7) date mostly from the resort's 1987 and 2003-2005 lift upgrades. Owned by Pacific Group Resorts since 2001, it joined the Indy Pass for the 2024-25 season.
