Krkonoše (Giant Mountains), Czech Republic · Independent
Špindlerův Mlýn is a historic spa and ski town in the Krkonoše (Giant Mountains) of the Czech Republic, on the border with Poland and near Luční hora, the country's second-highest peak. Its ski area spans several linked sectors — Svatý Petr, Medvědín, Hromovka, Stoh, Horní Mísečky and Labská — with about 26 km of downhill runs across 17 lifts, plus roughly 85 km of cross-country trails. The resort has hosted Alpine Ski World Cup races, including in 2019, and 95% of its slopes have artificial snowmaking. It is operated by Melida a.s., majority owned by the Slovak resort operator Tatry Mountain Resorts (TMR).
