Ski Wentworth

Tucked into Nova Scotia's Wentworth Valley, Ski Wentworth is Atlantic Canada's largest alpine ski facility, running four lifts across 23 trails on a modest 249-metre vertical. The hill has been skied informally since the 1930s and hosted alpine and freestyle events at the 2011 Canada Winter Games. Snowmaking covers roughly two-thirds of the terrain, and six lit trails keep it open for night skiing through the Maritime winter. Eleven mapped glade runs and a cross-country network round out a community-scale operation that punches above its size for the region.
