Yamanouchi, Nagano Prefecture, Japan · Shiga Kogen All-Mountain (combined) lift ticket — independent, not Ikon/Epic
Shiga Kogen, in Yamanouchi, Nagano Prefecture, is Japan's largest ski resort by area — 18 individually named, mostly interconnected ski areas covering roughly 425 hectares within the 13,000-hectare Shiga Highlands UNESCO Biosphere Reserve (designated 1980), inside Jōshin'etsu-kōgen National Park. Lift-served skiing runs from about 1,325m up to 2,307m at Yokote-yama, with a single combined lift ticket covering the whole complex. Several of its zones (including Higashidateyama) hosted the slalom events of the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics.
