Shemshak, Tehran Province, Iran
Shemshak is a steep, snow-sure ski area in the Alborz Mountains just 45 minutes from Tehran, long favored by locals for its consistently deep, dry powder and terrain skewed toward advanced skiers. More than 60 years old, it is considered Iran's second-largest ski resort after nearby Dizin, with five lifts serving mostly intermediate and black-rated slopes. A floodlit night slope extends the day into the evening.
