Sälen
Sälen, in Malung-Sälen Municipality, Dalarna County, is a cluster of ski areas in the Sälenfjällen mountains and one of Sweden's most-visited winter destinations. Four connected areas — Lindvallen, Högfjället, Tandådalen and Hundfjället — are operated together by SkiStar as a single 'Sälen' ski pass area, alongside independently run Stöten, Näsfjället and Högfjällshotellet. The area is also the start of the Vasaloppet, the world's oldest and largest cross-country ski race.
