Rutland County, Vermont, USA · Ikon
Pico Mountain sits on the Killington-Mendon town line, just over the ridge from its much larger sibling, and has stayed a genuinely local, low-key alternative even after joining the Ikon Pass roster. Its 1,967-foot vertical unfolds through classic, narrow Vermont trail cutting rather than modern superhighways, with the Summit Express and Golden Express quads doing most of the lift work. Killington has owned and operated Pico since 1996, running it as an uncrowded, family-oriented counterpart to the resort next door.
