Nozawa Onsen Snow Resort

Nozawa Onsen is one of Japan's oldest ski resorts, built around a traditional hot-spring (onsen) village on the slopes of Mount Kenashi in Nagano Prefecture. It combines steep, deep-powder terrain on its upper mountain with long cruising runs down to the village, and hosted the biathlon events for the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. The resort is independently operated and not part of the Ikon or Epic pass networks.
