Mount Lebanon, Lebanon · Independent
Mzaar Kfardebian, also known as Faraya-Mzaar or Mzaar Ski Resort, is Lebanon's largest ski area, in the Mount Lebanon range about an hour from Beirut, with peaks reaching 2,465 m. Developed from the 1960s and taken over by the Saudi-owned Al Mabani Group in the 1980s, it now runs around 20 lifts across a network of marked slopes split fairly evenly between beginner, intermediate and advanced terrain. On clear days the resort offers views over the Bekaa Valley toward Beirut, and its season typically runs from early December to early April.
