Victoria, Australia · Ikon Pass (Ikon Base Pass: 5 days; Ikon Pass: 7 days)
Mount Buller is Victoria's largest and most-visited alpine resort, rising above the town of Mansfield roughly 3.5 hours from Melbourne. Its 22 lifts serve 85 runs across 300 hectares of the Victorian Alps, with terrain split fairly evenly for beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers, plus four terrain parks for freestyle riders. The resort has one of the largest snowmaking systems in the Southern Hemisphere and is unusual among Australian resorts for having a genuine drive-to-the-slopes village with roughly 7,000 beds. Since 2019 it has been part of the Ikon Pass network, giving it a global profile alongside Northern Hemisphere giants, and it remains a hub for Victorian ski racing, school groups and weekend Melburnians.
