Loon Mountain is a large, lift-dense White Mountains resort spread across four terrain pods (Loon Peak, West Basin, North Peak, South Peak) and served by New Hampshire's biggest lift fleet, including a gondola and the state's first eight-place D-line chair. Its 2,190-foot vertical ranks among New England's largest, with terrain skewed toward intermediate cruisers plus dedicated glade and park zones. Owned by Boyne Resorts since 2018, it participates in the Ikon Pass with a reservation requirement on peak days.
