La Parva Ski Resort
La Parva is a high-Andean ski village about 50 km northeast of Santiago, forming the middle link of Chile's famous 'Three Valleys' alongside El Colorado and Valle Nevado. Skiing tops out above 3,570 m, giving one of the biggest vertical drops in South America, with wide-open bowls and long groomers reached by a network of chairlifts and surface tows. Its position at the end of the switchbacked road above Farellones keeps it feeling more like an exclusive alpine hamlet than a big commercial resort.
