Kolašin, Montenegro · Independent
Kolašin 1450 is the original ski area in Montenegro's Bjelasica mountains, about 9 km from the town of Kolašin. Since 2021/22 it has been lift-connected to the newer, higher Kolašin 1600 sector, and the combined system is now marketed under the name 'Kolasin Valleys.' Development follows a master plan by Canadian resort planners Ecosign and includes a new Swissôtel at the base (opened January 2024); long-term plans call for eventual expansion toward 150-250 km of terrain, which would make it one of the largest ski areas in Southeast Europe. Today's terrain is mostly beginner-to-intermediate.
