Victorian Alps, Victoria, Australia
One of Victoria's premier alpine resorts, Falls Creek sits within Alpine National Park near Mount Beauty and is known for its extensive ski-in, ski-out village and predominantly intermediate terrain. Vail Resorts has operated the mountain since acquiring it in 2019, running lifts up toward the slopes of Mount McKay above a village base at around 1,600 metres. Beyond downhill skiing, Falls Creek is also one of Australia's best-known cross-country hubs, with dozens of kilometres of groomed trails threading through the surrounding high country.
