Cypress Mountain

Cypress Mountain sits in Cypress Provincial Park in West Vancouver, about 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver, spanning the peaks of Mount Strachan and Black Mountain. It hosted the freestyle skiing and snowboarding events (moguls, aerials, ski cross, halfpipe, snowboard cross, parallel giant slalom) of the 2010 Winter Olympics. The terrain leans toward intermediate and advanced skiing with extensive night skiing and one of the region's largest terrain-park/glade offerings, plus a separate Nordic (cross-country) area.
