Benzie County, Michigan, USA · Indy Pass
Crystal Mountain is a family-owned, four-season resort near Thompsonville in Michigan's Benzie County, skiing since 1956 and still run by the founding Petritz and MacInnes families. Its 375-foot vertical is modest by western standards, but 59 downhill runs across roughly 100 acres, extensive night skiing (27 lit runs), and heavy snowmaking make it one of the busiest ski destinations in the Midwest. The property doubles as a year-round golf and lodging resort, home to two 18-hole championship courses and Michigan's only Alpine slide.
