Bukovel

Bukovel is the largest ski resort in Eastern Europe, spread across five low mountains (up to 1,372 m, on Mount Dovha) in the Carpathians near the village of Polyanytsya in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, Ukraine. Its terrain is mostly gentle-to-moderate intermediate cruising with a modest vertical drop, served by a large network of mostly numbered (rather than uniquely named) chairlifts and drag lifts. It was named the world's fastest-growing ski resort in 2012 and remains Ukraine's flagship winter destination, though wartime conditions have affected recent-season opening dates and operations.
