San Bernardino County, California, USA · Ikon
Big Bear Mountain Resort combines Bear Mountain and Snow Summit, two adjoining ski areas above the town of Big Bear Lake in the San Bernardino Mountains, about two hours from Los Angeles. Bear Mountain is known for its terrain parks and pipes and reaches the highest lift-served peak in Southern California at 8,805 feet, while Snow Summit offers more traditional groomed cruising terrain and extensive snowmaking. Together the two mountains total 438 skiable acres served by 17 lifts, making it Southern California's largest ski operation. It is part of Alterra Mountain Company's Ikon Pass network.
