The Weisshorn is a 4,505 m peak in the Pennine Alps of Valais, Switzerland, rising between the Zermatt and Anniviers valleys. Prized among alpinists for its striking pyramidal form and sustained ridge climbing, it is considered one of the more serious classic 4000m ascents in the Alps.
