Pico Basilé is the highest point in Equatorial Guinea, the summit of the largest of three overlapping basaltic shield volcanoes that form Bioko Island. It last erupted in 1923 and today sits within Pico Basilé National Park (established 2000), a key biodiversity area home to range-restricted species such as the Bioko speirops. On clear days Mount Cameroon is visible to the northeast, though the summit — which also hosts national broadcast and microwave relay infrastructure — is frequently shrouded in cloud and fog.

Elevation, prominence, coordinates and first-ascent facts are checked against published references and official sources. Where a fact isn't clearly documented, we show it as unknown rather than estimate.
