Muchu Chhish is a 7,453 m peak in the Batura Muztagh sub-range of the Karakoram, bordered by the Batura Glacier — one of the longest glaciers outside the polar regions. It was widely regarded as the highest unclimbed mountain on Earth until a Czech team completed the first ascent in July 2024 via a technical south-ridge route (mixed climbing to M4, ice to 70°).
