Mount Nyangani (also spelled Inyangani) is Zimbabwe's highest point, a broad dolerite-and-sandstone plateau in the Eastern Highlands that rises only about 40m above its own rolling moorland summit area rather than presenting a dramatic peak. Three marked paths within Nyanga National Park make it an achievable half-day hike for anyone in reasonable fitness, but the mountain has a genuine reputation for danger: fast-moving fog can descend without warning and disorient hikers, and several fatalities have occurred from people wandering off-route into the surrounding ravines. As Zimbabwe's national high point, it's a natural bucket-list hike rather than a technical mountaineering objective.
