Mount Lougheed (South Ridge / Peak II route)

A triple-summited peak between Spray Lakes Reservoir and Wind Valley in Kananaskis Country, its highest point (Peak II, 3,107 m) is a conspicuous landmark visible from the Trans-Canada Highway at Dead Man's Flats. Originally named Wind Mountain, it was renamed in 1928 to honour James Alexander Lougheed after his death.

How we verified this

Elevation, prominence, coordinates and first-ascent facts are checked against published references and official sources. Where a fact isn't clearly documented, we show it as unknown rather than estimate.
