Mount Foraker is the third-highest peak in the United States and the second-highest in the Alaska Range, rising about 14 miles southwest of Denali within Denali National Park. It is a serious, heavily glaciated mountaineering objective, most often approached from the same Kahiltna Glacier base camp used for Denali. Its long ridges and faces host some of Alaska's most celebrated technical alpine routes, including the Infinite Spur.
