Mount Asgard is a striking twin-towered granite massif on Baffin Island's Cumberland Peninsula, its North and South towers rising as flat-topped cylindrical rock towers separated by a broad saddle. It gained global fame in 1976 when stuntman Rick Sylvester ski-jumped off the mountain for the pre-title sequence of the James Bond film 'The Spy Who Loved Me' (1977), though the scene is depicted on screen as taking place in the Alps.
