Margherita Peak
Margherita Peak is the highest summit of Mount Stanley in the Rwenzori Mountains, straddling the border between Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. At 5,109 m it is the third-highest peak in Africa and one of only a handful of equatorial mountains to carry permanent glaciers.
