High Point is the highest natural point in New Jersey, a broad Kittatinny Ridge summit inside High Point State Park at the state's northern tip, close enough to the New York and Pennsylvania borders that all three states are visible from the top. The 220-foot High Point Monument, a war memorial obelisk completed in 1930, stands at the summit and can be climbed for a further view. It's an easy, family-friendly outing reached either by a short paved summit road or via a short spur off the Appalachian Trail.
