Broad Peak

Broad Peak is the 12th-highest mountain on Earth, straddling the Pakistan-China border in the Karakoram about 8 km southeast of K2. Its long, roughly 1.5 km summit ridge, containing three points above 8,000 m, gives the mountain its name.

How we verified this

Elevation, prominence, coordinates and first-ascent facts are checked against published references and official sources. Where a fact isn't clearly documented, we show it as unknown rather than estimate.
